The Standard Efficiency Test, as defined by the Syndicate, has to be qualified by the admitted candidate at the time of admission to this course.
M.P.Ed. (40 seats)
B.P.Ed. (50 seats)
Bachelor’s Degree with at least 45% marks in the subject of Post Graduate Course, or 50 % in aggregate.
B.A. with Honors in the subject of the Post Graduate Course or B.Sc. Hons. School Course
Master’s Degree examination in any other subject.a) Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with 50% marks and having at least participation in the Inter-College/ Inter-Zonal/ District/ School competition in Sports and Games as recognized by the AIU/ IOA/ SGFI/ Govt. of India.
b) Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education with 45% marks.
c) Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with 45% marks and studied Physical Education as compulsory/ elective subject.
d) Bachelor’s Degree with 45% marks and having participated in National/ Inter-University/ State competitions or secured 1st, 2nd , or 3rd position in Inter-College/ Inter-Zonal/ District/ School competition in Sports and Games as recognized by the AIU/ IOA/ SGFI/ Govt. of India.
e) Bachelor’s Degree with participation in International competitions or secured 1st, 2nd, or 3rd position in National/ Inter-University competition in Sports and Games as recognized by respective federations/ AIU/ IOA/ SGFI/ Govt. of India.
f) Graduation with 45% marks and at least three years of teaching experience (for deputed in-service candidates i.e. trained physical education teachers/ coaches.The relaxation in the percentage of marks in qualifying examination and reservation of seats for SC/ ST/ OBC and other categories shall be as per the rules of the Central Govt./ State Govt., whichever is applicable.
D.P.Ed. (50 seats)
10+2 or equivalent examination with at least 50% marks
For those who are position holders (Ist, 2nd and 3rd) in state level Sports/ Games and those who have participated in the national level Sports/games competitions which are recognized by the India Olympic Association, the minimum percentage of marks in 10+2 examination shall be at least 45%.
The admitted candidate has to qualify in the Standard Efficiency Test at the time of admission to this course.
