In memory of the Founder Principal of the College
Every year 15 needy/meritorious students are awarded scholarships of Rs. 4,000/- each by the Principal Harbhajan Singh Memorial Trust — instituted by his family in the memory of the Founder Principal of the college.

Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme for Scheduled Castes
The objective of the scheme is to provide financial assistance to the Scheduled Caste students studying at Post-Matric or Post-Secondary stage to enable them to complete their education. These scholarships are paid to students whose parents'/guardians' income from all sources does not exceed Rs. 2,50,000/- per annum.
Eligibility
Students belonging to Scheduled Caste category studying at Post-Matric/Post-Secondary stage.
Income Limit
Parents'/guardians' income from all sources must not exceed Rs. 2,50,000/- per annum.
Online Application
Students must apply online before the due date notified by the college.
Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme for OBCs
Other Backward Classes
The objective of the scheme is to provide financial assistance to the OBC students studying at Post-Matric or Post-Secondary stage to enable them to complete their education.
Employed Students
Whose income combined with income of their parents/guardians does not exceed Rs. 1 lac per annum.
Unemployed Students
Whose parents'/guardians' income does not exceed Rs. 1 lac per annum.
Online Application
Students must apply online before the due date notified by the college.
Post-Matric Scholarship for Minority Communities
The objective is to award scholarships to meritorious students belonging to economically weaker sections of minority communities from Class XI to Ph.D. so as to provide better opportunities for higher education, increase their rate of attainment in higher education, and enhance their employability.
Eligible Communities
Muslim / Christian / Sikh / Buddhist / Parsi communities.
Marks Required
Not less than 50% marks in the previous final examination.
Income Limit
Annual income of parents/guardians from all sources does not exceed Rs. 2 lac.
Level of Study
Class XI to Ph.D. — covering the full spectrum of higher education.
Special Grant for Girl Students Belonging to Scheduled Castes
The girl students belonging to Scheduled Castes whose parents'/guardians' annual income does not exceed Rs. 60,965/- are entitled to a special grant.
Panjab University Scholarships
Awarded through Dean, College Development Council, Panjab University

Sunny Oberoi Scholarships Scheme
For intelligent and hard working students from underprivileged sections
SARBAT DA BHALA CHARITABLE TRUST (SDBCT) is a philanthropic body dedicated to the cause of extending economic benefits to the underprivileged and hitherto neglected sections of society. The Trust grants financial assistance under the Sunny Oberoi Scholarships Scheme where intelligent and hard-working students are helped to pursue their higher education.
Eligibility Categories
Economically Weaker
Students belonging to economically weaker sections of society.
Lost Father (Earning Member)
A student who has lost his/her father — the earning member of the family.
Divorced Mother
Students whose mother is a divorcee and not getting any supporting allowance from the husband.
Natural Disaster
Students whose families are affected by natural disaster.
Differently Abled
Students who are differently abled.
Trust Recommended
Students recommended by the Managing Trustee of Sarbat Da Bhala Charitable Trust (Regd.).
Selection Rules
- 1Students whose parents' annual income is less than one lakh rupees.
- 2Student must fulfil the mandatory class attendance conditions.
- 3Student must not be getting scholarship/stipend on the basis of SC/BC category or Sikh Minority community Scholarship Scheme. They must first approach concerned authorities before applying to the Trust.
- 4Students must have more than 65% marks in the qualifying examination.
Scholarship Amount — Based on Performance in Immediately Previous Examination/Semester
How to Apply — General Note
- ✦The Scholarship/Stipend forms can be collected at the time of admission.
- ✦Students eligible for scholarship/stipend must submit these forms along with their admission form, duly completed in all respects and attested by the appropriate authorities.
- ✦Scholarship/stipend forms not submitted by the due date notified by the college will not be entertained.
- ✦Students belonging to SC/OBC/Minority Communities must apply online for the scholarship before the due date.
