National Cadet Corps (N.C.C.)
S.G.G.S. Khalsa College, Mahilpur has an active N.C.C. unit which is a youth wing of the Indian Armed Forces. N.C.C. helps to inculcate discipline, selfless service, leadership, truthfulness, self-sacrifice, and honesty among young cadet corps. N.C.C. is a platform for cadets to explore their interest in various domains like the Army, Navy, and Air Force wings, preparing them for a life of national service and professional excellence.

National Service Scheme (N.S.S.)
The S.G.G.S. Khalsa College has its N.S.S. unit which provides opportunity to the youth to understand the current problems of society. They learn the sense of Service before Self, the merit of leadership and discipline as well as a feeling of involvement in national re-construction. They are involved in various activities like tree plantation, cleanliness drives, social awareness camps, and blood donation. Students interested in joining N.S.S. should contact the incharge, N.S.S. Unit of the College to fill in the prescribed proforma at the time of admission.
Tree Plantation
Regular plantation drives across the campus and surrounding areas to promote environmental awareness and green cover.

30 ਜੂਨ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਣਯੋਗ ਰਾਣਾ ਗੁਰਮੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਤੇ ਯੁਵਕ ਸੇਵਾਵਾ, ਅਤੇ ਐਨ ਆਰ ਆਈ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਜੀ ਨਾਲ ਜੋ ਆਨਲਾਈਨ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਹੋਈ ਉਸ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੁਕਮ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਨੋਜਵਾਨ ਵਰਗ ਯੂਥ ਕਲੱਬਾਂ, ਐਨ ਐਸ ਐਸ ਵਲੰਟੀਅਰ, ਰੈਡ ਰੀਬਨ ਵਲੰਟੀਅਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਮਿਤੀ 4 ਜੁਲਾਈ 2020 ਨੂੰ ਡੋਰ ਟੂ ਡੋਰ ਕਰੋਨਾ ਜਾਗਰੁਕਤਾ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਚਲਾਈ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਹਰ ਵਲੰਟੀਅਰ ਘੱਟ ਤੋਂ ਘੱਟ 20 ਘਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ ਫੈਲਾਵੇਗਾ।
On 4th July 2020, S.G.G.S. Khalsa College NSS volunteers, Red Ribbon volunteers, and Youth Club members conducted a mass Door-to-Door Corona Awareness Campaign across Mahilpur town and surrounding villages. Each volunteer visited a minimum of 20 households spreading awareness about COVID-19 safety protocols and helping people install the COVA app.
The NSS Unit of S.G.G.S. Khalsa College Mahilpur organised a Tree Plantation Mission on 10 July 2020. Students and volunteers actively participated in planting saplings across the campus and nearby areas as part of the national commitment to environmental conservation and the Green India Mission.
NSS volunteers of S.G.G.S. Khalsa College prepared and distributed self-made masks to community members during the COVID-19 pandemic. The college NSS unit also celebrated Van Mahotsav on the campus, further reinforcing their commitment to environmental stewardship and community welfare.
ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਕਾਲਜ ਮਾਹਿਲਪੁਰ ਵਿਖੇ NSS ਯੂਨਿਟ ਵਲੋਂ Green Diwali ਦੇ ਮਹੱਤਵ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਸਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਪੋਸਟਰ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਵਿਚ ਭਾਗ ਲਿਆ। The NSS Unit organised a Poster Making Competition on the theme of Green Diwali, promoting cracker-free celebrations and environmental consciousness. Winners were honoured by the Principal and staff members.
The NSS Unit of S.G.G.S. Khalsa College Mahilpur conducted a Special Lecture on Cyber Awareness Day to educate students about online safety, cyber fraud prevention, social media responsibility, and secure digital practices. Expert speakers were invited to guide students on navigating the digital world safely and responsibly.

The NSS Unit of S.G.G.S. Khalsa College organised an enriching educational and spiritual excursion to Shri Anandpur Sahib in May 2022. Students visited the sacred Sikh heritage site, connecting with Punjabi history, culture, and the teachings of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, reinforcing values of courage, service, and community.
An NSS volunteer from S.G.G.S. Khalsa College Mahilpur represented the college at a prestigious 7-day National NSS Camp in Delhi, showcasing leadership, discipline, and community spirit on a national platform. The student participated in various national integration activities, workshops, and cultural exchange programmes alongside volunteers from across India.
