Horticulture — Field Learning Activities
Hands-on field work under faculty supervision
Agricultural Field Practices
Students of the Horticulture Department learn real-world agricultural field practices including crop cultivation, plant care, irrigation management, and complete field management under professional faculty guidance throughout the academic year.
B.Voc. HorticultureCampus Vegetation Tagging
Horticulture students actively participate in tagging the campus vegetation, learning to identify and document plant species throughout the college campus. This activity develops botanical identification skills and campus environmental awareness.
Environmental LearningComposting from Campus Waste
Students prepare compost mixtures using campus waste, learning sustainable agricultural practices and environmental responsibility through hands-on composting projects. This teaches circular economy principles in a practical setting.
