S.G.G.S. Khalsa College, Mahilpur has constituted statutory cells as mandated by the Government of India and the UGC to ensure the welfare, safety, and rights of all students and staff — regardless of gender, background, or community.

Transparent and timely resolution of staff and student grievances under UGC guidelines for a harmonious campus.
Empowers minority communities — Sikh, Christian, Muslim, Jain and others — through scholarships, guidance and holistic support.
This Act provides protection against sexual harassment of women at the workplace, ensuring the prevention and redressal of complaints and all matters connected therewith. It contributes to the realisation of women's rights to gender equality, life, liberty, and equality in working conditions everywhere.
A sense of security at the workplace improves women's participation in work, resulting in their economic empowerment and inclusive growth. The Act covers students in schools and colleges as well as patients in hospitals. Employers and local authorities must set up grievance committees to investigate all complaints.
The following committee has been constituted for the welfare of students of all categories and female staff, in compliance with the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act, 2013.

Grievance Redressal System is a vital part of any administration. It is the responsibility of the College Administration to provide a secure and contented environment to all its Staff and Students.
The Grievance Redressal Committee has been formed in the College as per the UGC guidelines to redress the grievances of both the staff and the students. Since the inception of the college, the Committee has been under the direct purview of the Principal.
The grievances received by the Principal are forwarded to the concerned Committee members who look into the problems depending upon the seriousness of the issue. The Committee has been continuously striving to take the best efforts possible to create a harmonious and conducive atmosphere for everyone in question.

The aim of the Minority Cell is to empower the minority communities in the College and assist them in their curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. The Cell has been set up to help minority students from the Sikh, Christian, Muslim, Jain and other communities achieve holistic development.
The smooth working of the Minority Cell has been achieved through time-to-time meetings and follow-ups by the management and committee chairman. The Cell has helped students obtain financial support from minority communities and government agencies.
Every year the Minority Cell organises a Scholarship Guidance Program, through which government scholarship information and guidance is provided to minority students. Meetings are conducted throughout the year with committee members and the chairman for the successful implementation of schemes and activities.
The Minority Cell of the college strives to create an inclusive and empowering environment for minority students, fostering their overall development and success in both academic and personal spheres.
The Minority Cell committee works towards the inclusive growth of students belonging to Sikh, Christian, Muslim, Jain and other minority communities by providing guidance, financial support and a platform for holistic development.
